SlashClock (the "Service") sets out the following policy in order to appropriately protect users' personal information.

1. Information collected

  • Slack account information (ID, name, avatar, etc.)
  • Clock-in/clock-out and attendance record data
  • Usage data
  • Payment information (managed by Stripe; card numbers are not held by the Service)

2. Purpose of use

  • Providing and improving the Service
  • Calculating and billing fees
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Preventing unauthorized use

3. Provision to third parties

The Service uses the following external services to operate the Service, and information may be provided to them to the extent necessary:

  • Slack (workspace and account authentication)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Intercom (customer support chat)
  • Sentry (error monitoring)
  • Google BigQuery (data analytics)
  • Google Cloud Platform (hosting infrastructure and logs)
  • Supabase (database hosting)

4. Data management

Appropriate security measures are taken to prevent information leaks.

5. Data retention and deletion

Attendance, account, and usage data is retained for as long as the workspace continues to use the Service. If a workspace stops using the Service (for example, by uninstalling the app or canceling its subscription), the associated data continues to be retained until deletion is requested as described below.

Workspace admins or individual users may request deletion of their data by contacting us at the address below. Such requests will be completed within 30 days.

6. Access logs and cookies

The Service may collect logs such as IP addresses and access times for analytics and fraud prevention purposes.

7. Revisions

Any material changes will be announced on the Service.
